SITH® here because although it has not been a particularly
in my own life, an immense number of people worldwide have learned of ho'oponopono
via this vehicle. SITH® is a specific set of
powerful ho'oponopono practices.
Mornah Simeona created the
process in the 1970s and began to teach it internationally. Since her death in 1992
several of her students,
Ihaleakala Len Hew have
maintained, perpetuated, expanded
further developed the SITH® teachings.
1996 the popularity of SITH® teachings
expanded exponentially when
master marketer Joe Vitale wrote an inspirational article titled "The
World's Most Unusual Therapist" which has been read by
people on the Internet. The
year Vitale worked with Len Hew to expand this article into a book
Limits, The Secret Hawaiian System for Wealth, Health, Peace and More.
simple 3 page article and the expanded book
describes seemingly miraculous healing experiences which occurred in a
health hospital when psychologist Dr Ihaleakala Len-Hew helped heal an
ward of mentally ill criminals by repeating the
phrases "I love you" and "thank you" on his own
without ever seeing the hospital residents or staff professionally.
I attended a 2
basic SITH® class in 1996.
teaching style wasn't a good fit for me. However,
I have indeed
personally found these phrases "I
love you" and "thank you"
to be powerful healing tools!!
I was motivated to write about
my experiences with hooponopono when I read a contribution in an online forum
in which the writer strongly suggested that certified SITH® teachers are the true, authentic source of ho'oponopono pracitices. Thank you Clarity
for thus lighting a fire under me!
In truth, SITH® is simply one
path up the mountain.
